20 months today and Sprinkler Fun

Nadia is 20 months today and we did our usual height/weight check. She weighs 20 lbs 13 oz and is 32″ tall. Since last month she has gained 2 oz and grown .75″. So she stays in the 3% for weight and 50% for height. Clothing wise that has her in 18 month dresses, shirts and rompers, but 12 month onesies and bottoms (skirts & shorts). Then she has an assortment of 9 month outfits that fit her perfectly. Kohls had capri pants and skorts on clearance for $1 this week and even the 6-9 month size were too big - I pulled them up and they fell right down :)

These photos are from last week. I turned the sprinkler on in the front yard and Nadia walked right into it to check things out. Mike grabbed his camera and got some awesome shots! The first one is of her doing what I call “the sneaky walk”.

    Wow…is all I can say. These photos are FABULOUS. Miss N is so cute and well Mike you are very, very talented….I love how the water droplets look still as they fall around Miss Nadia and how you captured Nadia in motion (and yet she is still too)…its like you captured Nadia’s energy and the earth (water) stood still all at the same time..incredible!!!

    Love the photos. Miss Nadia is a beauty!

    My Suichuan beauty has always been petite and is still at age 5 in about the 5% for weight and 10% for height. She is 30 pounds (soaking wet) and 39.5″ tall. The poor dear has to wear a 2T tankini and still has to have the bottoms hemmed in some way…..Sigh……

    Twenty pounds. BabyP LAUGHS at Nadia’s 20 pounds! If we weren’t waiting for BabyP2, I’d send you the clothes she’s outgrown already — Nadia might be big enough for them (soon)! Ha ha….

    Like BabyP, Emi will never see 20lbs again (and she’s 3 months younger!). But she too is all over in sizes, it just depends on the manufacturer. She has some 6-9 month, 9 month tees ( and 9 mo sleepers are the only ones that fit), 12 month and even some 18 months. Thanks for the tip on Kohl’s, might just have to zip on over there this week. Miss Emi needs shorts in the worst way!

    Nadia is the cutest cutest thing ever in these pictures!!! I love thebalck and white photos … Gracie will be getting her 18 mo check-up in October – hopefully she’s gained some weight! She’s still in some 9 month clothes as well!
