We gave Joseph 2 boxes of Cracklin’ Oat Bran. (With his real gift tucked underneath, but he would have been happy with the cereal which made me smile)

Randy and Jessica’s visit in December
Louanne on Jan 16th 2010
Randy and Jessica came to visit for the annual company Christmas party at the beginning of December. Randy went to work and Jess and I consumed large amounts of delicious food. We introduced them both to “La Playa Maya” and Randy is totally hooked. This was the first visit in a long time where we didn’t make a muffin or cupcake out of the Taste of Home Magazine, but we just ran out of time. I am so happy to have spent 3 days with Jessica.

The party was at Ripley’s Believe it or Not/Palace of Wax. We had a great time and the COOLEST thing there is the Mirror maze. Mike and I won one of the raffle prizes and some of the other staff were joking that I couldn’t come to the party anymore because I always win

Meeting the Grinch
Louanne on Jan 13th 2010
Last month we took Nadia to see “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” done as ice sculptures at the Gaylord Texan hotel. They bring in men from China to do a different theme every year and it’s amazing. When I was buying the tickets Mike and Nadia noticed a “meet and greet” with the Grinch and Mike told me to buy a ticket for Nadia. You can not imagine how EXCITED Nadia was during this time. I showed her these photos today and she started clapping and said, “Awe! So cute!”
There are a ton of photos in this album (just so you know). In the photo below Nadia had just asked me to join her with the Grinch. So sweet.
Hugging the Grinch goodbye when our time was up.
Inside the actual ICE display.
And one more cute shot from our night.
