Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful and grateful to God that He gave us Nadia and that we have not faced any major issues with her since coming home. Nadia is a joy and a delight and she is right on target on all her developmental areas. She is petite and always will be, but she is strong and healthy. We are so blessed that God found us worthy to be her parents and to be her family.

I am also thankful for my KIDS HOPE USA volunteers who had to find out today that their mentor children had not returned to the school. My little one has not returned and I have not been able to get a hold of his mom and so I have no idea where they are. My volunteers are tough and they love God and know that He let them be a part of those kids’ lives for a reason, even if they didn’t get to say goodbye. I am grateful that they are going to stay in the program and volunteer to help another child.

That sweet little angel. She is the light of your life, isn’t she!

Nadia is so sweet. I agree 100%. There are no words that can adequately describe how thankful and grateful to God I am to be the mom to my three wonderful DDs and the daughter of my mom. They are the light of my life….thank you for reminding me to count my blessings everyday too. Take care. CTG

Actually, she a little ahead developmentally, isn’t she? And looks and charm are off the charts! :-)

Happy Thursday to you. I know how hard it can be when kids you are working with just seem to fall off the map. My dh & I worked with youth at our old church (many of which were lower income & had families that move a lot). It’s hard when they leave but you can be thankful that God did allow you to plant some seeds into their lives.

    Have a wonderful long weekend!

Oh my, what a beautiful photo. You guys do amazing at grabbing her at the most interesting angles. Thank you for sharing your Nadia with all of us. She is a delight and a joy, and watching her grow has been a wonderful gift.

I am sorry your little guy didn’t return. It’s hard on them to move, and hard on all of you and your mentors when they do.

    Thinking of you,

    Kiy
