2nd annual Bubble Bash!

Bubble Bash 2009

We had our playgroup’s 2nd annual bubble bash at our house last Friday. We didn’t have as many big kids this year so it didn’t seem as bubble filled, but the kids still had fun. Nadia’s playhouse and Radio Flyer were a big hit with the other kids and I had to remind Nadia about sharing which caused much drama. Later in the day she was all happy telling me, “Howard liked my car, Elliott liked my playhouse, K liked my toys.”

I am, once again, playing catch up. What a wonderful day, love the bubbles!

And so happy that it all worked out with Mike’s mom. I know, all too well, what you had to go through to make that happen as we did the exact same thing (only long distance) when we moved my grandmother from her home to her senior apartment, and then later to the nursing home. It’s not easy, but it’s nice to see when they become settled and happy.

Oh, and Emi too still ‘works the room’. We also call it that and get such a chuckle. It’s so wonderful that you take Nadia with you. I am sure she brightens many faces, bringing smiles where maybe there wasn’t one for a long time. I know when little’s were visiting when Gram what in the nursing home, it was QUITE the deal!

Cheers, been thinking of you guys,

    Kiy

Aren’t bubbles great? :) Bubbles and play dough are two of Sarah’s favorites right now.
Such great pictures and I love the cake. You are a very talented cake decorator! :)

It was so much fun! I love that it’s now called the “annual” bubble bash! We will definitely have to continue the tradition. Thanks for taking such cute pictures! Oh, and that is really cute what Nadia said about the kids liking her things. It’s amazing what kids pick up on!
