Disneyland California Adventure 2015

We spent the second day of our trip to Disneyland at California Adventure. We had a great time in Cars Land and A Bugs Life, plus we saw the awesome Pixar Parade. We finally rode Radiator Springs which we missed on our last trip. Nadia road California Screaming with me and was so brave. What a great coaster!

Mike got our car on Mickey’s Fun Wheel swinging so fast and the girls loved it!

The attention to detail that Disney puts into everything is amazing.

Meeting Sofia and Doc McStuffins was a big highlight of the day.

Of course we had to see the Frozen sing along.

These two were so tired by the end of the second night. The slept in the stroller while Nadia, Mike and I shopped and grabbed some more food. It was a great day and we crammed as much as we possibly could into the 2 days we had. There are lots more photos at the link below.

Disneyland April 2015

This is a LONG overdue post, but life kept happening and I was overwhelmed by all the photos that needed to be sorted 🙂 After visiting with family in April we went down to spend two days at Disneyland. That way each of the girls had their first trip to Disney at 3 years old. We had a great time and completely wore out Amelie and Dani over the course of two days. Nadia was a champ and had a blast doing everything since she was finally tall enough. She loved the Indiana Jones ride and was so happy about getting to go twice because of the rider swap. We went on Star Tours a couple times and the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster over and over.

Required shot with Walt and Mickey.

Jumping with Tigger.

Putting the stroller to good use.

Amelie picked the spy glass as a souvenir after riding Pirates of the Caribbean.

Dani was excited about meeting all the characters and hugging all of them. It was great to see that she wasn’t afraid, but instead was so excited and happy to be there! We also enjoyed buying the classic Disney snacks like Mickey Pretzels and Mickey Ice cream.

St. Patrick’s Day 2015

Nadia was signed up for a homeschool class at the zoo that started earlier than Amelie had museum school so I decided to take Amelie and Dani to breakfast. I had heard of the “Black Rooster” bakery located in that area and so we headed over there. It was so delicious! They deserve their fabulous reputation. Then Dani and I dropped Amelie off and went to the zoo to walk around and wait for Nadia’s class to be over. It was sweet to go around the zoo with just Dani.

We picked Nadia up and had some time before we needed to pick up Amelie so I took the girls to walk around the Botanical Gardens. (Seriously, our town is awesome)

Whew! And that was just our morning 🙂 The rest of the day was much more relaxed.
