I was so impressed in November by the improved air quality in Beijing ; we had lots of blue skies in November too…(much,much better than in 2003).
It sounds like you are adapting well and isn’t it great; everyone speaks English in Beijing. In fact, it apparently is mandatory in China from grade 1 onwards….maybe not as much in the country side; but in the large cities. I will be interesting to hear from you how you think things are going…I hope to go to China in the fall…well I am keeping my fingers crossed that what i am trying to make work out, will…Take care. CTG

Glad to hear N is doing so well. Take care…and bundle up…Beijing is a lot like the place I am from…bone chilling cold in the winter; hot and dry in the summer…LOL.
