This week we are thankful that we got our update about Dani! This photo came with the update and the most important news was that they told us she could walk! YIPPIE!! That gives me such a feeling of relief. They also gave us information on her personality, eating habits, sleeping habits and personality. So excited and thankful!
*We have had so much going on the last few weeks plus house guests, so I am way behind on blogging. So I am just going to start adding posts in no particular order 🙂

One of our family Christmas traditions is to attend the “Polar Express PJ party” at the Fort Worth Science and History Museum. All of us wear our jammies and the girls love it! We go early enough so they can take part in the polar themed science experiments. Then we get some popcorn and line up for the movie.
While we were wandering around the experiments and man from the marketing department came up and asked if we would sign a waiver to be used in promotions. We said yes and he asked us to pose with the Museum mascot. Then later that night our photo showed up on the Museums Facebook page. It made ironing my jammies worth it. HA HA!
I think my eyes bugged out more than the girls when I saw this set up!
This year my friend Laura invited us over to do Gingerbread Houses with her and I am so glad she did!! She had big houses set up for her and I. Then she let the girls pick between houses, trees or a carousel. They both chose to do a chalet. Laura gave us each bowls to fill with candy, a bag of icing and we got to work.
Hard at work.

The front of Amelie’s house.
The front of my house.
The back of my house. And because I got to do my own, that meant I could be symmetrical 🙂 Laura says that we can make this a new tradition and we are so excited!
And this is the craft gingerbread house that the girls made with Aunt Tahni during her visit. I think we covered all the gingerbread bases.
For getting our entire LOA packet completed and Fed Ex’d back to our agency. They have done their part and sent it on to the Department of Homeland Security for America to accept her joining our family.
For all the love and sweet words we have heard about Dani.
For how great our agency is in making the next steps goof-proof.
For all the fun we have been having celebrating Christmas time.
For the fun we had celebrating Bayli graduating from North Texas.
For Tahni spending time with us last weekend. The girls had a blast with their aunt.
