- I am thankful that we knew Ken McCarty. He was an elder at our church and such a great man. His memorial service this week was unlike any I have attended. It sounds weird to say it was perfect, but it truly was. We were heartbroken he was gone, but so encouraged to know He was with God and had given so much of his life to share that with others.
