The Garage – Before and After

There is nothing like a new car to motivate you to park both cars in your “2 car garage”. Nine and a half years after moving in our house we now have both cars inside and the shelves organized 
Moving the bricks was the worst of it. Whoa!

And after – with the bikes and Nadia’s trailer hanging from the ceiling. New shelves above the freezer and on the left side. And a whole lot of stuff given away on Freecycle.

Looks great! Tackling a big project is hard work, but I bet it feels good to have it done!
I am hoping to get some closets/cupboards organized this summer. We’ll see….

My garage is not so cluttered (but it’s only for one car, and we use it for a car), but you’ve demonstrated the usefulness of that up-space. I’ll have to look into that….
Great clean up job! So funny – we must be leading parallel lives – we cleaned the garage last week and yard work today!
