We are so excited to have the Peterman’s here with us on their road trip to/through Texas. We headed to the zoo and the weather was glorious and it wasn’t crowded at all.  The big excitement was to see the zoo’s new exhibit MOLA! And it was totally awesome and much better than the old herpetarium. Nadia even touched a snake! (after mommy did first)

It was a wonderful day and the girls were exhausted by the time we got home. So they had a nap and then played outside until dinner was ready. Nadia loves having Abby and Evie here to play with.

That night Jessica and I made one of the cupcakes out of our cookbook since that is tradition when we are together. This time we made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip with Cream Cheese icing

Once again a double post because we have been busy and had visitors New faucets for the bathroom. Our black Friday super deal that Mike installed a couple weekends ago.

Katie Coe sent these chocolates to Nadia with her parents all the way from England!

A little less than a month ago I got a call from Jess asking if she could come to Texas to visit and meet Nadia. Come on down I said. WOO HOO! Jessica got here last week and we had a great time. Jessica had 2 requests when she came – to put together a package for their new sponsored child in Ethiopia and to hit the Flying Saucer for lunch that included Dill Pickle popcorn. I was in the process of putting together a little package for our newest sponsored child so we had a blast shopping and getting everything together and mailed off in their neat little 6×9 envelopes. Otherwise we did a lot of playing, talking and eating.

Jessica bought Nadia her first piggy bank and we will just say that Mommy and Daddy have been feeding it a lot. LOL.

It was a wonderful visit and I am so glad that Jessica was able to come spend some time with us. Come back any time! (and Jeff is invited too of course!)

I am thankful that Chris and Jen were able to come spend 24 hours with us on Sunday. I only got a few photos of Jen and Nadia, but we had a blast.
