Leaving Myrtle Beach
Louanne on Aug 28th 2009
Here is a shot of us on the balcony right before we left the beach and headed to Augusta.
First stop was Jersey Mike’s Sub Shop for a quick and delicious lunch. Here is Taggie (who has joined us on every family trip) in front of the sign.
Then we headed to the Boardwalk to pick up some more salt water taffy and to let Nadia see the fire breathing dragon one more time. Nadia saw people taking photos at this store and wanted hers taken too.
Here are Mike and Nadia waiting on the dragon. What a fun time we had at the beach!

Sand Castle

On our last day at the beach Nadia and I made a sand castle. Nadia was a really great help in getting water to make the sand more wet and helping me put sand in the big buckets. Then I sent her on a mission to find shells to decorate the top with and she did awesome.
We ended the day by stuffing ourselves at Prosser’s BBQ in Murrels Inlet. It’s the best deal for the best food in the whole area. Nadia liked all the pig decorations and the banana pudding. When we got back to the condo it was dark and people were shooting off fireworks on the beach and so the 3 of us sat on the balcony and enjoyed the fun.

Another Beachy Day

This was a busy day, but so fun. We started at the pool with all the kids and then headed in to give Nadia (and me) a nap. This little plane floaty was so fun.
Here Nadia was saying hello to a plane going overhead.
Reagan showing off her goggles.
Nadia laughing with Julie.
For dinner we went to Rossi’s and Nadia refused to look at the camera.
After dinner we headed to Ripley’s Aquarium which is really cool. I took some video which I will edit together sometime in the future. They had a fish slide for the toddlers to climb around in and Nadia said, “AGAIN!!??!!” about twenty seven times. The bubble she is looking through is it’s eye.
At the bottom of the tongue slide.
After that we headed to “Wee R Sweetz” for a bunch of salt water taffy. I LOVE the Kiss Wrap machine.
