School Carnival Fun!

The school where I run the KIDS HOPE USA program had their carnival this weekend. The boy that I mentor moved to another school 3 weeks ago and so we invited him to join us since I hadn’t seen him for weeks. He was excited to see us, but also to see his friends. The Fort Worth Fire department came out and showed the kids the truck and let them try on their boots and hat.
Nadia saw this train and was completely single minded about going on a ride.
While they rode the train A got his hair spray painted.
I convinced him to give up his “coolness” and get in the bounce house with Nadia since she didn’t want to go alone 
And of course he had fun.
Afterwards we went to McDonald’s and Nadia was just being her super cute happy self. Here she is showing us how full her belly was.
Here she is playing with Mike a game that never gets old to a toddler. “Where is Nadia?”
Here she was roaring like an animal and holding up her nugget.
